History of evolution of IDEAL-PACK to IDEAL-GROUP

2008

Creation of IDEAL-SOLUTION GmbH and IDEAL-PACK Foodsolutions GmbH subsidiaries. Expansion of services to include credit checks, management of outstanding payments and collection - a comprehensive multichannel commerce package.
Opening of new logistics centre providing additional 12,000 m² of production space and creating 40 new jobs.

2007

Six-figure investments, e.g. in cardboard presses, resulting in optimisation of the environmental balance. Participation in several trade fairs with on own stand.

2006

Now certified to handle foods due to passing the audit. Official partner of the PSI organisation. Membership in the "Sweets Global Network" organisation. Establishment of a proprietary spirits warehouse, furthermore expansion to now nearly 20,000 m² production space.

2005

In April, 10-year company anniversary since the launch in 1995. Exceedingly positive business development. introduction of a new software specially developed for our needs, for securing the zero-error quality from commissioning to delivery on schedule.

2004

Move from Talheim to the Heilbronn industrial estate "Böllinger Höfe". All-around optimised systems, work flows and production processes on 5,600 m² production space as well as a 4,000 m² field warehouse for clearly more efficient use of the 170 employees working for well over 200 customers.

2003

Expansion of the field of activity to the food area. Fulfilment of the special requirements for handling foods and acquisition of several well-known food customers. Expanded service portfolio through the storage and handling of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics in accordance with the pertinent hygiene regulations. Planning of the move to Heilbronn because of good business development and logistics areas which are growing too small due to the growth. Development of optimised processes and ideal structures.

2001

Conversion to a new inventory control system created especially for IDEAL-PACK. Establishment of specially secured interfaces for customers for status requests of stored products. Steady customer base with by now more than 150 companies nationally and abroad.

2000

Expansion of the productions rooms to 4,000 m². Increase of the staff to now 82. Arranging of the first apprenticeships. Purchase of a new shrink-wrap machine with integrated camera for reading and sorting addresses.

1999

Move to the new production rooms with 2,600 m² production space. Permanent personnel base of 40 employees. New investment in technologically high-grade efficient machines. Expansion in the data processing sector. Full establishment as a modern service company.

1995

Founding von IDEAL-PACK by the two managers Hans Petty and Johann Kremer, start with eight employees in a 1,400 m² production hall. Step-by-step expansion of the technical facilities and extension of the service range.
